A small intimate gathering with the closest women in your life for a pre-birth celebration. We honor the mama’s journey into motherhood, shower you with love, support and wisdom from the trusted women in your life. The mama blessing is a empowering celebration of nourishing attention and support. This is all about honoring you and your sacred transition into motherhood. What you can expect is a sharing circle where women can offer heart felt blessings for the mama. There will be a creative activity and a nurturing activity. A open space to share your fears, hopes and dreams with those closest to you. The possibilities are endless for what you would like to do and the following is no way a requirement if you have a different vision. Blessingway can include: -an opening meditation -smudging of each guest to cleanse & ground -a flower mandala crown made from flowers guests bring -blessing cards: positive affirmations created for mama to have in her labor space -salt ritual: a bowl of salt is passed around as herbs are added as guests speak there supportive wishes to the mama -foot soak to wash away your worries with the salts or you can take them home to do on your own (foot bath provided) - belly blessing -String ritual: string passed around and each woman wraps it around their wrists starting with the mama, this symbolizes connection. The string is then cut and each woman leaves with a bracelet as a reminder of the support within the circle. The string can then be cut as the mama goes into labor and blessing released -setting up a meal train We will have a call prior to the day to discuss what you would like to have at your blessing, where you would like to have, planning aspects. <When booking, you are booking you planning call and placing deposit.> The day of, I will facilitate by gently providing structure and guidance for this beautiful ceremony. The mama blessing is such a beautiful way to feel empowered and supported prior to giving birth to your child. Typically this is done towards the end of pregnancy 36 weeks or later. I look forward to working with you to create this magical event for you. Gifts (if given) should be in support of nourishing and nurturing the mother. Your guests may bring food to feast together on. Food is not included in the price but can be discussed if you would like that done for you. You or a trusted friend will be responsible for sending invites. Im happy to assist in creating e-invite for you!
